Every journey begins with a single step, and the journey to loving your finances, manifesting your goals, and experiencing all the possibilities of being financially free is no different.
However, I’ve noticed that for many, the first step is the hardest step to take. Why is that? The reason is we look around at the financial clutter in our lives, and we tell ourselves we aren’t ready. We define our financial abilities by where we were yesterday, and all we can see is where they’re flawed. But that mindset is not fair to you or your future.
Imagine where you could be tomorrow if you just allowed yourself to begin.
The last time you looked at your bank account you may have thought, “It’s too messy. I’ve got so many bills, and it’s complicated. I don’t want anyone to know that I don’t have it all together because I’m embarrassed that I don’t know what I’m doing.” Or perhaps you were even harder on yourself, “I’m not where I want to be. I can’t afford anything. I suck at this and I’m a failure.”
I want you to press pause. Let those thoughts quiet themselves so you can take a deep breath in. Let that breath refresh your body and mind, and as you release, I want you to breathe out that negativity. Those thoughts do not define you, and they do not define your finances.
The truth is, you’re overwhelmed and simply don’t know where to start. May I share with you where to start? The best place to begin is exactly where you are, right now, today. You don’t need to change anything, clean up your bills, pay off your credit cards, or get a raise. All you need to do is be yourself and say, “Yes, I accept this invitation to begin.”
I help people just like you to organize, plan, and manage their personal finances. Take that first step by calling T&H Financial Coaching to see how we can help you live the life you deserve.
